Plastic Trees published at Eschatology

Please check out my latest flash fiction, Plastic Trees. One could say too much about a flash story since it is so short. Brevity aside, this does a good job of capturing where I was at emotionally when I was laid off and then found a job that treated its workforce with what, in my assessment, was less dignity and respect than a human being deserves. Mix in a little depression, a touch of angst, and a penchant for the weird, and you have Plastic Trees...
